What is expected of a fraternity member?

Members of Phi Sigma Phi are expected to hold in their highest regard the virtues of Honor, Justice, and Wisdom.  They are expected to maintain a GPA of at least 2.5, while being fiscally responsible to the National Headquarters and local chapter.  Ultimately, we are expected to make ourselves, our communities, our families and our world a better place to be.

What is Rush?

What is "Philanthropy", and what is Phi Sigma Phi's involvement?

Philanthropy is community work, and charity projects.  Phi Sigma Phi's chapters and colonies have annual events ranging from celebrations to softball tournaments to raise money for local groups, as well as our nationally supported philanthropy, The Ronald McDonald House (R).

What makes Phi Sigma Phi a unique opportunity?

The most unique aspect about Phi Sigma Phi is our youth as a national organization.  While some may regard this as a weakness, we consider it to be an opportunity where traditions can be made, not followed.

Fraternities cost significant amounts of money, dont they?

Phi Sigma Phi holds claim to the lowest active membership fees of any national fraternity.  Our dues are only $75 per man, per semester.

Aren't fraternities all just elite cliques with habits of drinking, womanizing, and social disorder?

There is not a single national fraternity who holds virtues congruent with any such behavior.  The fundamental difference between the stereotypical image, and reality is hte membership.  Phi Sigma Phi looks for those willing to stand up and make a difference.

Does Phi Sigma Phi haze?

We have a ZERO TOLERENCE with issues regarding hazing.  Fraternities are meant to make you a better man, hazing simply does not accomplish any such goal.

What about my grades, will they suffer?

While we can not guarantee success in any specific field, all chapters require a minimum GPA to stay in chapter.  Scholarships, study programs, and university rescources all becom available when joining Phi Sigma Phi.  Many fraternity members attribute their time in chapter to their many life successes.
